Lucy is a girl!

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

I bet some of you have heard, "What a cute little girl!" when really you have an adorable little boy in your arms. You feel annoyed right? Well I kind of have the same problem, but in dog form. Lucy looks like she could be a boy or a girl but is just gets on my nerves when people say, "What an adorable little boy...come here boy!" She was getting a little shaggy so we decided to took her in to get her groomed and when she came back, she looked like a girl! Just a little femine touch. Now hopefully no one can mess up her gender. Boy dogs don't usually wear cute bows (: Check out the pictures, they are cute.

And for all of you who say, "what a weird girl, posting pictures of her dog like it's her child", don't laugh! Because Lucy girl is like my baby in a way, although she isn't human, but I am like her mother. Just imagine if your little girl got an adorable new haircut, you would probably post it too. Enjoy and comment!

Maybe I Need More Time...

Monday, June 15, 2009

I can't believe how long it's been since I last posted and edited my blog. I guess I just don't have a lot of time. This week has been finals and then I have soccer and singing and violin and all that jazz. But I think once the summer starts (in 3 days!!!) I will be more on track with my blog.

Anyway, I also haven't been reading all of your blogs in a while so I just went through and read all the post and I loved it. It was fun to get a glimpse into what you are thinking on a day to day basis. I am so excited for Kate! Congratulations (Laura, can you pass the message on?)! I can't believe my niece got baptized. It seems like only a few years ago I was baptized...oh wait. Well, it was a little more than 3 or 4 years. I actually can't believe that it has been 6 years since I was baptized.

I am definately not that old but a few days ago I was thinking about how long it has been since I was at the cabin in Idaho and I think it has been 10 years. I don't even feel like I should have memories from 10 years ago. I always think of my older siblings saying I remember 10 years ago when I worked at Tom Tom or something but wow! I have almost lived in Virginia for 10 years.

Sorry for the randomness but I am kinda spilling my random thoughts...because I am just random like that.

Wow, I think I need some sleep...COMMENT!

Wow...I am cool!

Okay...so on Saturday I went and saw the new Hannah Montana movie. I am sorry, I know I sound like a little kid but I thought it was actually pretty cute...for Hannah Montana. I liked the country spin on it and the songs were really good. My favorite songs were Butterfly and The Climb. I am not suggesting it to all you readers of my blog, because most of you are older and cooler than me :), but if you are in to the disney channel thing, it is fun!

Pierced Through the Heart

Haha...the title is kinda relevant but this post has nothing to do with my heart, I just wanted a crazy title (:

So while Melissa was here I decided, since I turned 14, to go get my ears pierced! We headed to the mall and and was a little freaky!I walked into Icing and this lady says, "Can I help you?" I almost hesitated but then I said shakily "I am here to get my ears pierced." My heart was beating so fast and I was soooo nervous. She was talking me through the precedure and the after cleaning and stuff and I just sat there wide eyed as she got the guns ready and sterilized my ears. As she took out the pen to mark where the piercing was going to go I almost thought that the pen was going to hurt me or something...my heart just kept beating faster and my hands got all sweaty. I am not going to lie...it was nerve racking!! Then all of a sudden she picked up one of the guns and shot my ear. It sounded and felt like my ear was stapled...but despite that, it didn't hurt that much. Then, I knew what was coming so the second ear hurt a little bit more. Even though I had all these nerves and almost thought about not doing it and keeping my perfect ears, I am glad that I finally got it over with. I can't wait for the six weeks to be over when I can wear cute earrings. I made a few pairs and mutual and can't wait to try them out on my ears (:

Here is a picture!! (it is kinda bad :P):
