They ended up being the cutest Skechers EVER! Here are some pictures from the first day I wore them to school. Everyone thought they were cute! :

Been a Month!

Tuesday, December 16, 2008

Well, it has been about a month and I think it is about time that I post something. I am sad to say that I don't have the pictures that I have been wanting to post but I will post them soon!! Thanksgiving was really really fun but I am sad that all those fun people that were here won't be here for Christmas...and I won't see them for A LONG TIME :(!! Christmas preperations are going well. We have all of our decorations on and our Bing Crosby CD is playing almost everyday! (thanks so much for getting us that Julie!).

Oliver is going pretty well. We did a stumble through of Act 1 on Friday and this week we are learning the rest of the choreography and staging. We are already off book so hopefully by the end of the week we can run the Act again without the stumbling part. It has been fun to learn the music and meet new friends, although this week I sound like a man because my throat is all scratchy and stuff.

Last week I had two concerts, orchestra and chorus. They were both really good although I feel like I didn't do my best in either. I think for chorus I didn't know the words as well as planned and for orchestra I was nervous because I have never preformed so close to the audience....

Speaking of close to the audience and orchestra...we had seating auditions in orchestra I am 3rd chair, 1st violin. From last year, I moved up like 20 seats!!! So that means I am like as close to the audience as you can be...and that made me nervous and a little self consciece (<-- word spelled wrong). Sorry...my spelling is...a little on the shabby side. It is funny that I am not really nervous when I sing and act on stage but I am when I play the violin. Weird!

Homework is getting out of control. I have 2 projects over the break and I have homework every night. It is gets really annoying. Why can't teachers just give us a break!!!

Hope you all are having a wonderful season
Merry Christmas!
please comment!!

WELLL............................................................................cast list was posted and!!!!!!!!!

I AM A SOLOIST!!!!

Personally, I knew they wouldn't give me a big part because of the Sunday issue but this was the part i wanted because I couldn't be a lead...and I got it! Lead call backs were yesterday and I didn't feel like I did my best but I am glad that they still gave me a good part! I am sooooo excited to start rehearsing because rehearsal is the best and you get close to the whole cast.

Saturday, November 8, 2008

BTW...the title is not 81 with parenthesis it is supposed to be a nervous smiley :D

On Friday I auditioned for Oliver!, the middle school musical we are doing. I felt more convident than I did last year. I still had the butterflies and while I was performing I was shaking a lot but people in my group of 10 I auditioned with said that I was the best in the group. I really hope I get a lead role this year. Last year they wanted to give me a lead but I told them I wouldn't do it on Sunday so they gave it to someone else. The leads in this show don't have REALLY big parts becuase it is a lot of ensemble so it won't take my life away if I DO get a lead. Either way, ensemble or lead, I will be happy. Wish me luck! Call backs are posted Monday after school, the actual call backs are on Wednesday and Thursday and then the cast list is posted Friday. CAN'T WAIT!!!

Happy Belated Halloween!! I had the best time with my friend Camille. I had been thinking I wanted to be be the love bug for halloween so she got the idea she would be a bee and we would be bugs together. It was so fun to trick or treat with her and then have a sleepover. Here are some pictures of me in my costume:

Love Bug <3

My antena was NOT cooperating!

And this is the pumpkin I carved. The spider broke off so that is why there is a tooth pick sticking into my pumpkin.
Hope you all had a great Halloween. BTW...I thought that JJ, Janette, Joshua, Lucas, Caleb, Kate and Clark looked great in their costumes. You all need to post pics of your costumes.

CUTE!

While Mom and Dad were gone we had a couple come over for one of the weekends so I wouldn't be alone while Truman was in Boston. We had a really fun time going miniature golfing and things like that. One day we were looking at family blogs and she intruduced an amazing site to me for blog backgrounds called TheCutestBlogOnTheBlock.com. It has sooo many different backgrounds that are easy and free. A lot of the other sites I have found with backgrounds make you take all of your side pictures and widgets off and then you have the job of putting them all back on again. These are just an HTML gadget and you copy and paste in. Don't you think my background is cute?

And here are some other backgrounds for different occasions:

~Chromatic~

Monday, October 20, 2008

I saved over the summer and decided to get the New nano~chromatic (in pink). It is such a cool toy, as Mom and Dad would call it. It is hard to explain so I will let the video do it..but is is fun! So far I only have about 160 songs on there but it still a awesome gadget to figure out. It is direction sensitive so the games on it are like a maze and you move the ball by moving the ipod around! Heres the video:

BTW...do you have to save a video to put the actual video on your blog. I didn't want to save it so I just put the link.

BUSY!!!!

Saturday, September 27, 2008

I am so sorry I haven't blogged in such a long time...I am so busy. I have soccer practice, chorus for 2 and 1/2 hours, singing and violin lessons, mutual, and at least 2-4 hours of homework every night. So far, 8th grade is a blow to the mind. Last year I didn't have much homework at all and now I am swamped.

When the weekend comes I am SOOO happy. I also get 1-2 babysitting jobs every weekend so that is nice but it is hard to fit in. Hopefully I can get a little more of a break so I can start blogging more. I have a picture from homecoming week I want to post. I wish I could have gotten more but dad wasn't there to be my paparazzi. :( Love you!

I Am Ashamed!!

Sunday, August 31, 2008

I have totally stopped blogging so I am now trying to come back. I looked at my last blog entry and it was more than a month ago!!
So I have been going school shopping a lot lately and I have gotten a lot of clothes the past week. I couldn't put most of the pictures up because I don't have pictures of my clothes but here are some of them.

I decided to shop a lot at Hollister because despite there majorly loud music, that is the only place I can find jeans that fit.

I like feeling warm during the school year and this jacket is SOO soft!

CLEARANCE!! So adorable too:)

Can't wait to start the school year off looking cute...THANKS MOM!!

Finally!!

Monday, July 28, 2008

THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!!! Our phone contract has been up for a while and so Mom and Dad decided that they wanted to get iphones and Mariah and I could get new phones for a good prices. I looked at every phone but they were too pricey and then I came to one that was cute and had lots of fun applications and worked great for buy one get one free. I am so happy about my find! (Mine is the orange one and Mariah's is red)

Suprise!!!

Friday, July 25, 2008

Ok, so Dad decided (Mom was in on it too) that he would suprise us. We had no clue what was going on. He just told us to keep Friday open. There were no clues, and no hints. We woke up early this morning and headed to the Prius. Inside on each seat was a "Top Secret" envelope and corn nuts. We also had huge water bottles. Trying to put the clues together, Mariah, Truman, and I had an idea of a road trip but there was nothing else. After driving a couple blocks down Sideburn Road we turned into the Robinson Secondary Parking Lot. By then I was so confused. I had absolutely NO idea what in the world was going on! We parked got out of the car and walked up to the front doors bringing a sign with us. Dad didn't let us read it until we said the pledge, had a moment of silence, and got a picture with it:

The Pledge

The first picture of us with the sign (still not knowing what the suprise is)

See the sign and reaction!

Off on the challenge!!

So now that you know what the suprise was, I need to tell you what the Philly Cheesesteak Challenge is. You usually do it your Senior year of high school but Mariah didn't get to. You leave after the 7:20 bell rings, beginning school, drive up to Philly, eat a cheesesteak there, drive back and get there before the bell rings at 2:05! It was tough but SOOO fun! We went to the traditional place, Pat's King of Steak.

Finally, we arrived!!

Yum!!

We got back 11 minutes before 2:05. What a great day!

Dicovery

Tuesday, July 22, 2008

Facebook-a place to keep in touch with friends and family. Also, the most addicting thing in the world (don't worry...I don't spend all day on it). I used to think "Oh, just a white and blue site with a bunch of high schoolers" but now I have at least 55 friends! I just love the way you can get messages, write on peoples walls, and look at pictures. I friended all of you!

Memories

Monday, July 14, 2008

I participated in this with someone else and thought it looked like fun. Try it out!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Happy When Daddy Comes Home

This sounds so dumb but a lot of times you really don't realize what you have until it is gone. For 9 days, Dad has been gone and I have missed him like crazy. He is so kind and notices people when they need something. He is a can do kind of a guy and loves to learn. He is so spiritual and strengthens my testimony every day. And i can't imagine having any other Dad because Scot Proctor is THE BEST!! This makes me think of the primary song:

Daddy's Homecoming

I'm so glad when daddy comes home,

Glad as I can be;

Clap my hands and shout for joy,

Then climb up-on his knee,

Put my arms around his neck,

Hug him tight like this,
Pat his cheeks, then give him what?
A great big KISS.

This is literally what I did. He came late last night so this morning I clapped my hands, ran into the bedroom yelling DADDY!!! and hugged him tight! He is such a strength in my life. When he is gone there is an emptyness in my heart. I am going to end this post with a quote. It really captures the feelings of a child to a father.

~
Dad:
a son's first hero,
a daughter's first love.

Bike and Roll

Saturday, July 12, 2008

In my opinion, city life is too busy and chaotic for me, but yesterday, was SOOO fun! First we ate at a little food court and then we rented out bikes. Mom, Angie, Melissa, and I on our own bikes, Eliot hauling the kids with a kid trailer, and Thomas and Lauren on a Tandem (bike built for two). We rode for 4 hours seeing the Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, FDR, and WWII memorials. We also rode along the Patomic which was very beautiful. I felt like we were so free to do what we want and not stopped by traffic or lines. I am deffinatley doing that again! Afterwards we ate at Cosi. It is a really good sandwich shop that has flat bread. I have discovered another good food place that is fast! We ended the day with yummy chocolate banana milkshakes and National Treasure 2. Eliot and Angie left this morning and I will miss their great additudes and cute kids!

Frying Pan Farm

Friday, July 11, 2008

Yesterday Mom, Angie, and I took the kids to a place called Frying Pan Farm Park. It was a really great, kid friendly place. We took a ride on a tractor around the whole farm where we saw horses jumping, deer in the woods, and crops growing in the fields. We also saw pigs, goats, horses, cows, chickens, a bunny, a peacock, some turkeys, and some ducks. The kids loved seeing everything and they also got a little toy at the Farm Shop. We ended the day with ice cold water and popsicles while we ran around on the grass and raced. Mitchell screamed in the car and then all of a sudden he dropped off. It was the cutest thing to watch his eyes get heavier and heavier. We sang farm songs all the way home.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008

So yesterday I was really ambitious in trying to find ways to earn money so I entered a picture of mine into a Dog photo contest. I don't know if my picture is what they are looking for because all the other pictures are just home grown close up but here is the picture <-----. The contest is on http://www.photowow.com/ . To win, i have to get the most 10 votes because you go through and rate each picture. If you want to vote go to photowow and click on contests, then dog contest. You will have to go through many pictures rating them before mine. They haven't put me into the contest yet so don't vote until Wednesday. Hopefully they will put my picture into the contest!VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!

Dramatic!

Sunday, June 29, 2008

Last week I went to a drama camp at Robinson. It was so fun. My first impression was that it was a little young. It was 2nd to 8th graders so I was the oldest in the whole camp but I did have two of my really good friends there with me. We played acting games, learned how to do some make up, played with stage blood, danced, and performed a play. For our age group we did the 12 Dancing Princesses for our play. I was the main character named Elise (She is the youngest princess who is on the cover of the book in yellow). It was so fun to learn lines, blocking, and acting techniques. When it came time to perform I realized that I have only performed like 3 times in plays/musicals and Mom and Dad have missed 2 of them! :-( Hopefully I will have many a part to come so they will see me a lot in plays. Over all, drama camp was really fun and it was especially exciting to have Mariah a counselor there with me.

I am so Proud!

Sunday, June 22, 2008

So I am terrified of roller coasters but after going to Busch Gardens with my friends last month I suggested that our family went there! It was a really fun day because we went everywhere doing everything. Trust me this place is SO FUN! I wasn't expecting to go on any roller coaster except the one I loved last time but then Truman, Mariah, and Dad went on Alpenguist! I was too scared the first time but when they came off they told me it was REALLY fun and easy. So I went on it. It goes down, corkskrews, goes upside down, etc. and I was having a blast!!!! When I got off I couldn't stop laughing! I was hyped up on adrenaline, excitement, and fear. I couldn't make my self stop laughing. And it wasn't even just a normal laugh. It was a high pitched, wavery giggle. I ended up going on it 4 times!!!!!! It was so fun but I was dizzy after that!

Schools Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday, June 13, 2008

I cannot express how excited I am that I am finally out of school. School was fun but summer is SO fun!!!!!! Can't wait to see you all in August!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(don't you like how many exclamation points I use?)

New Shoes

Okay, I think there is something wrong with this picture:
Mariah needed some cute new shoes for her graduation so after taking her out to lunch at Bombay Bistro, we went to DSW. I love this shoe store because it feels like there is an endless supply of any kind of shoe you are looking for! So when I saw a shoe I liked I wanted to try it on so I looked through the boxes until I found the 7 1/2 box and took it out. My foot would not fit! This shows how long it has been since I went shoe shopping. I wanted to see my size so I wouldn't have to try billions of shoes on so I used one of the metal measurers. I put my heal onto it and slid some things around and found out that I am a 9 to a 9 1/2!!!! Where did that come from??!?!? I still fit into some of my size 7 shoes and all of a sudden I am 2 sizes up!!! I like my size of 7 1/2 and I am sad that I am all of a sudden BIG FOOT! But on the upside, I got some new cute flats!

Score Pictures:
