Today I had to stay after algebra with a group of people to talk to the teacher. At first, I was scared that I was in trouble. Then the teacher (Mrs. Anderson) starting talking about how we are the top in the class and how she would really like it if we particpated in a math competition. I AM NOT EXCITED!! I feel like the nerd of the 8th grade and I am only in 7th grade!! I really don't like math very much but I guess I am good at it.

You can be in a math competition and not be a nerd! Congrats to you for being noticed for your smarts!
Way to go!! I always had a natural ability with math as well. You should own it because math doesn't come easy to everyone! Way to go!
