A Scary Thought

Today I had a kind of scary expeirience. When I came into school everything seem very normal, but then everything changed. Teachers shut all of their blinds and all other windows on doors were cover with black paper. The staff didn't really give us any information but later in the day we got the picture. As we walked to lunch we came into the lobby and all the lights were off. It scared me a bit because we then saw police outside the lobby doors. As we got more infomation we found out there was a man seen with a gun on our soccer field. You probably haven't been to my school or seen my class room but that is right outside our window and is where we go to recess. Files were sent to the police saying many shots were heared in a wooded part of the houses near our school too. Thankfully all are safe but it made me realize that anything can happen.
